Transneft Druzhba conducted the scheduled works at oil trunk pipeline

Transneft Druzhba finished the scheduled repairs at the facilities of Kuybyshev - Unecha - Mozyr-1 oil trunk pipeline (OTP). The works were conducted on 16-20 August 2017 during 92 hours in Penza, Tambov, Lipetsk, Orel and Bryansk Regions. 

Specialists performed medium repair of 7 gate valves at Malinovka-1 oil pump station (OPS) of Michurinsk Regional Directorate, 2 gate valves were replaced at Unecha line operation dispatcher station (LODS) of Bryansk Regional Directorate during the planned stop of the OTP. As well, works on replacement of industrial pipelines were performed at Unecha LODS.

Industrial pipelines were connected after replacement in the area of responsibility of Penza Regional Directorate at Sosedka-1 oil pump station (OPS), pipeline sections were replaced at intermediate pig trap station with connections of 6 stop valve units and 2 stop valve units at intermediate pig trap station of Rostovka OPS.

Besides, a non-normative T-bend was replaced during the works at the pipeline’s linear portion.

The scheduled works were conducted on a 24-hour basis by efforts of central maintenance divisions (CMD) of Kuybyshev, Penza and Michurinsk Regional Directorates as part of implementation of the technical upgrading and revamping (TU&R) programme for 2017 for the purpose of increasing reliability of the pipeline’s operation. Oil pumping was resumed according to the schedule; the oil pipeline operates under normal conditions.
