Transneft Druzhba Completes Scheduled Repairs at Operating Facilities

Transneft Druzhba has completed scheduled repairs at operating facilities in Samara, Tambov and Orel Regions.

To maintain a high level of industrial and environmental safety of the pipeline transport system, specialists repaired four gate valves at the Syzran-1 line operation dispatcher station (LODS). Hydraulic testing of supply pipeline section was conducted at the Nikolskoye-1 LODS. To carry out works at the Syzran — Nikolskoye process section of the Kuybyshev — Bryansk petroleum products trunk pipeline (PPTP), petroleum products transportation was suspended.

The VST header was connected to process pipelines during the construction of a vertical steel tank (VST) with a volume of 1 thousand m3 at the Stalnoy Kon LODS without changing the PPTP operating mode.  

Constructed mud-trap filter assembly was connected at the Verkhovye oil pumping station (PS). The works were carried out as part of the PS technical upgrading during the period of the scheduled reduction in the oil transportation volume through the Kuybyshev — Unecha — Mozyr-1 oil trunk pipeline.

The repairs were performed within 72 hours as part of the Technical Upgrading, Revamping and Overhaul Programme.

The transportation of oil and petroleum products is currently carried out under the standard protocol as per schedule.
