Transneft Druzhba has completed technical upgrading at the Priboy line operation dispatcher station (LODS) of the Kuybyshev Regional Directorate.
The works were launched in June 2018 as part of the Company’s technical upgrading, revamping and overhaul (TUR&OH) programme. The goal is to bring systems and equipment into line with regulatory requirements to ensure high reliability of the petroleum products transportation system.
During the technical upgrading, specialists mounted a new mud-trap filter. A pressure control unit was mounted. Three sliding gate valves, five safety valves, a flowmeter of drag reducing agents input unit were replaced.
A new oil system, a system for collecting leaks and drainage of a mainline pump station were mounted and connected. Two leakage and drainage tanks and a ventilation system were installed to remove heat surplus from the electric motors of mainline pump units. Construction and installation works were conducted for an overhead cable tray.
The new equipment has successfully passed both individual and integrated testing.
