Transneft Druzhba has completed scheduled repairs at the Kuibyshev – Unecha – Mozyr-1 oil trunk pipeline (OTP), Kuibyshev – Bryansk and Nikolskoye – Voronezh petroleum products trunk pipelines (PPTPs), as well as onsite facilities. Works were carried out around the clock for 72 hours in the Samara, Tambov, Lipetsk, Orel and Bryansk Regions in order to improve the reliability of pipeline transportation facilities.
During the period of the scheduled shutdown of oil transportation through the Kuibyshev – Unecha – Mozyr-1 oil trunk pipeline, specialists performed a tie-in of temporary PIG traps on the pressure process pipeline of the Syzran line operation dispatcher station (LODS) to perform in-line inspection. Midlife repairs of three stop valves at the OTP were performed.
A dead end with a gate valve was cut out on the Lopatino LODS process pipeline. A substandard transition to a mud-trap filter was replaced.
A receiving process pipeline at the Stanovaya-1 oil pumping station was connected after revamping under the reduced oil transportation protocol. Six gate valves at the OTP underwater crossing through the Polnoy Voronezh River were repaired without changing the pipeline operation mode.
During the scheduled shutdown of petroleum products transportation through the Nikolskoye – Voronezh PPTP a defect was cut out.
Temporary PIG traps at the Kuybyshev – Bryansk PPTP underwater crossing through the Chelnovaya River were disconnected. A tank header with the volume of 10,000 m3 was connected to the process pipeline at the Stalnoy Kon LODS. The works were carried out without changing the petroleum products transportation mode.
The measures under the Transneft Druzhba Technical Upgrading, Revamping and Overhaul Programme were completed within the planned timeframe. Oil and petroleum products transportation was resumed in accordance with the schedule and is conducted under the normal protocol.
