Transneft Druzhba Completes Scheduled Repairs at Petroleum Products Trunk Pipelines and Onsite Facilities

Transneft Druzhba has completed scheduled repairs at the Kuybyshev – Bryansk, Ufa – West and Section No. 42 petroleum products trunk pipelines (PPTP), as well as at onsite facilities in the area of responsibility of the Kuybyshevsk, Penza, Michurinsk and Bryansk Regional Directorates (RDs) of the company.

The works were performed around-the-clock for 72 hours on the territory of Samara, Ulyanovsk, Tambov and Bryansk Regions. The goal was to increase the reliability of pipeline transportation facilities.

During a planned shutdown of petroleum products pumping via the pipelines, specialists eliminated eight defects and repaired three stop valves at the Kuybyshev – Bryansk PPTP.

Three gate valves were repaired at the Klin and 8N line operation dispatcher stations (LODSs). Also, six stop valves were replaced at the 8N LODS and the Priboy LODS. A section of the Syzran-1 LODS process pipeline and the crossover lines of the Kuybyshev – Unecha-2 oil trunk pipeline were replaced at the Kizhevatovo oil pumping station. A crossover line was connected to the stop valve units on the Priboy LODS.

A filter was replaced at the Nikolskoe-1 LODS, a defect was cut out.

Petroleum products transportation was resumed in accordance with the schedule and is conducted under the normal protocol.
