Transneft Druzhba Completes Scheduled Repairs at Oil Trunk Pipelines

Transneft Druzhba has completed scheduled repairs at the Kuibyshev – Unecha – Mozyr-1 and Unecha – Polotsk-2 oil trunk pipelines, as well as the Ufa – West petroleum products trunk pipeline. The goal was to ensure failure-proof and emergency-free operation of the pipeline transportation facilities.

During the scheduled shutdown of oil transportation, the Company's specialists connected the constructed section of the Kuibyshev – Unecha – Mozyr-1 oil trunk pipeline with a total length of 23 km. Six stop valve units were repaired at the Unecha – Polotsk-2 OTP, and defects were cut out.  

A check valve of a pipeline clean-up and inspection gadget trap at the Unecha line operation dispatcher station was repaired.

During the decreased pumping via the Ufa – West PPTP, hydraulic tests were performed at process pipelines of the Syzran-1 LODS.

The repairs are part of the Company’s technical upgrading, revamping and overhaul programme (TUR&OH Programme). They were carried out in 24/7 mode and lasted 72 hours and covered Bryansk, Samara, Penza and Tambov Regions.

Pumping of oil and petroleum products was resumed in accordance with the schedule and is currently conducted under the standard protocol.
