Transneft Druzhba has completed scheduled repairs at the Nikolskoye – Voronezh petroleum products trunk pipeline and onsite facilities of the Michurinsky and Kuibyshevsky Regional Directorates.
The works were performed around the clock for 72 hours on the territory of Tambov, Voronezh and Samara Regions. The goal was to maintain operational reliability of the pipeline transportation facilities.
At the Voronezh line operation dispatcher station, the Company's specialists replaced two stop valves. Sections of a header of a 20,000 m3 vertical steel tank with a floating roof were connected. Three dead-end sections were cut out.
A dead-end section and an unused crossover line between oil pipelines with two gate valves at the Nikolskoye-1 LODS were also cut out.
At the Syzran-1 LODS, hydraulic testing of the tank farm’s pipelines was carried out.
At the PPTP, repair brigades connected a pipeline clean-up and inspection gadget trap at the zero kilometre and cut out a defect.
The planned repairs were performed as part of Transneft Druzhba’s Technical Upgrading, Revamping and Overhaul programme.
Petroleum products’ transportation has been resumed on schedule. All the facilities are operating under the standard protocol.
