Transneft Druzhba Completes Scheduled Repairs at Petroleum Products Trunk Pipelines

Transneft Druzhba has completed scheduled repairs at the Kuibyshev – Bryansk and Voskresenka – Priboy petroleum products trunk pipelines (PPTP)

The repairs were part of the Company’s technical upgrading, revamping and overhaul programme (TUR&OH Programme). They were carried out in 24/7 mode and lasted 72 hours and covered Samara, Penza, Lipetsk and Orel Regions. The goal was to increase the reliability of petroleum products transportation.

Employees of Transneft Druzhba installed three ultrasonic flowmeters at the Kuibyshev – Bryansk PPTP.

At the Priboy line operation dispatcher station (LODS), hydraulic tests of a supply pipeline and pipelines of the tank farm were carried out.

Temporary PIG traps were cut out of the standby leg of the Kuibyshev – Bryansk PPTP’s underwater crossing of the Sura River.

Pumping of petroleum products was resumed in accordance with the schedule and is currently conducted under the standard protocol.
