Transneft Druzhba Donates Special Issues of History Magazine to Bryansk Libraries

Transneft Druzhba has presented sets of special issues of Istorik, a history magazine for a general audience, to libraries of the city of Bryansk, where the Company’s executive office is located.

The sets are dedicated to the history of Crimea from ancient times to the present day, as well as to the Russian revolution of 1917. Articles in these magazines were prepared with the participation of leading experts of the Institute of Russian History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the MSU, MGIMO and a number of other large universities and scientific institutions.

The magazines were presented to the Bryansk Regional Scientific Universal Library named after Fyodor Tyutchev, the Regional Children's Library, the Central Municipal Library named after Pyotr Proskurin, libraries of the Bryansk State University named after Ivan Petrovsky and the Bryansk State Engineering and Technology University, as well as to the library of the Bryansk branch of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and the library of the Bryansk branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

The Istorik magazine has been published since 2015. In 2020, two more special issues will be published: one will be dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, and the other one will honour the 100th anniversary of the end of the Civil War in Russia. These issues will be published in May and November respectively.
