Transneft Druzhba has completed scheduled repairs at the Kuibyshev – Unecha – Mozyr-1 and Kuibyshev – Unecha-2 oil trunk pipelines (OTPs), the Kuibyshev – Bryansk, Nikolskoye – Voronezh, Voronezh – Belgorod and Syzran – Ulyanovsk petroleum products trunk pipelines (PPTPs). The scheduled activities were carried out as part of the technical upgrading, revamping and overhaul (TUR & OH) programme to ensure uninterrupted and trouble-free operation of pipeline transportation facilities.

During a scheduled shutdown of petroleum products transportation via the Nikolskoye – Voronezh PPTP, the Company’s professionals disconnected a main pump unit for its subsequent replacement at Nikolskoye line operation dispatcher station (LODS) affiliated with Michurinsk Regional Directorate. They replaced stop valves at the pipeline and cut out a junction point to Usman oil depot.

During a scheduled shutdown of the Voronezh – Belgorod PPTP junction points to Khokholskaya and Kurbatovskaya oil depots were cut out, plus a pressure distribution unit (PDU) was connected at the intake process pipeline of Belgorod LODS.

Process pipelines were also replaced in the tank farm of Syzran LODS, part of the Syzran – Ulyanovsk PPTP.

The scheduled work was completed in 72 hours, non-stop. Oil and petroleum products transportation has been resumed and is now performed in the routine mode.
