Transneft Druzhba, JSC released carp young fish to the Don river and Voronezh water storage basin

Transneft Druzhba released carp young fish to  the Don river and Voronezh water storage basin in the territory of Voronezh Region (within the area of responsibility of Michurinsk Regional Directorate).

This environmental campaign was obligatory to the extent of the work on revamping of a section of Kuybyshev – Unecha – Mozyr -1 oil trunk pipeline (853—880 km).

Transneft Druzhba released carp young fish together with Transneft PCD under supervision of the commission established by Azov-Black Sea Territorial Administration of the Russian Federal Fisheries Agency. More than 1.68 thousand young fishes with the medium weight of 10 grams were released to the water reservoirs of Voronezh Region.

In total, in 2017, Transneft Druzhba released 31.5 thousand carp young fishes and 68.5 sterlet young fishes for the purpose of artificial breeding of the aquatic biological resources. They replenished the ecosystems of the Tsna, Oka and Desna rivers, Voronezh and Saratov water storage basins.
