The power supply systems are being upgraded at Novozybkov oil pump station (PS) of the Bryansk Regional Directorate and Rostovka PS of the Penza Regional Directorate of Transneft Druzhba. Within the scope of the Integrated Technical Re-equipment and Reconstruction Programme (TRR) of the enterprise if the service life of power transformers expires they are replaced by new equipment manufactured in Russia with improved engineering and economic characteristics as well as life characteristics.

Two three-phase transformers of 40 MW each are to be replaced at each station. One of the new transformers has already been installed at Rostovka PS at the specially prepared foundation; an outdoor switchgear has also been installed. Novozybkov PS will start installation of the first transformer in the next few days.  The work is to be completed by November 2017.

Next year Transneft Druzhba will continue to implement the power supply system upgrading project at the stations. Replacement of three power transformers at Nikolskoe LODS of the Michurinsk Regional Directorate and three transformers at Desna PS of the Bryansk Regional Directorate is scheduled for 2018.
