Transneft Druzhba has carried out scheduled activities at the Kuibyshev – Bryansk petroleum products trunk pipeline (PPTP) and Unecha line operation dispatcher station (LODS). The repairs were conducted round the clock and took 72 hours to complete. They were carried out in the area of responsibility of the Company’s Bryansk branch.

According to the environmental legislation currently in effect in the Russian Federation, whose main provisions are set out in the following documents (as in effect as of Q1-2019): the RF Constitution, Federal Law No.7-FZ “On Environmental Protection” dated 10 January 2002, Federal Law No.174-FZ “On Environmental Appraisal” dated 23 November 1995 and the order No. 372 of the State Environmental Protection Committee (Goskomekologiya) of Russia “On Approval of the Regulations on Environmental Impact Assessment of Intended Business and Other Activities in the Russian Federation” dated 16 May 2000, public debates on the draft requirement specifications on EIA are underway on the project “Revamping the Kuibyshev — Unecha-2 OTP, the Don river, the 860th km, mainline, DN1200”.

Transneft Druzhba Puts Digital Substation into Pilot Operation

One of the first digital substations (DSS) in Russia supplying oil and petroleum products to pipeline transportation facilities has been put into trial operation at Desna oil pumping station (PS) of Bryansk Regional Directorate of Transneft Druzhba.
