Transneft Druzhba finished planned repair works at Kuybyshev – Unecha – Mozyr-1 oil trunk pipeline (OTP). The works on replacement of valves, elimination of defects and connection of the replaced pipeline section were performed within the period of planned stop of the oil trunk pipeline on 16-19 May 2017, in accordance with the production programmes of technical upgrading, revamping and overhaul (TUR&OH) and repair and operational needs (RON).
Transneft-Druzhba, JSC continues to implement measures to increase the throughput capacity if the Ufa-West Direction Petroleum Products Trunk Pipeline (PPTP) on the Priboi-Nikolskoye section.
To the extent of the Year of Ecology declared in Russia in 2017 Transneft Druzhba organized Friendship Tree environmental campaign. The event organized together with the administration of Fokinskiy district of Bryansk, where the head office of the company is located, lasted a month.
Three projects by Transneft Druzhba young professionals were recognised prize winners in the International Competition of Scientific, Technical, and Innovative Developments for the Development of the Fuel, Energy, and Extractive Industries. This year, the contender list contained 250+ development projects from more than 80 FES entities.
Transneft Druzhba prepares production facilities for stable operation in fire season during spring and summer. Preparation started at the facilities of Bryansk, Michurinsk, and Kuybyshev, and Penza Regional Directorates (RD). Readiness certificates must be received before 01 June 2017
A tabletop drill (TTD) was held at the Nikolskoye line operation dispatcher station (LODS) affiliated with the Michurinsk Regional Pipeline Directorate of Transneft Druzhba. Some input data served as the basis for practicing the skills and expertise of actions in threatened emergencies and in case of industrial disaster elimination. The drill was headed by Pavel Revel-Muroz, Transneft Vice President and Chairman of Transneft E&FSC.
Transneft Druzhba finished implementation of the activities on increasing the delivery capacity of the first start-up complex of Baltic Pipeline System – 2 (BPS-2) commissioned in 2012. Oil supplies to Ust-Luga port through the oil trunk pipeline were increased from 30 million tons to 36 million tons of oil a year.
Transneft Druzhba completed the integration of its branches operating petroleum product pipelines that were previously part of Transnefteproduсt Samara, whose authorities of a sole executive body were transferred to Transneft Druzhba in 2016.
According to the results of assessment of the activities of the entities of Transneft system in the sphere of construction quality in 2016, Transneft Druzhba is among three companies with the best indicators.
Transneft Druzhba is preparing the production facilities for the operation in the spring flood season. The work is carried out in all eleven regions where the company operates.
